Strongly Correlated Fermionic Systems

In strongly correlated fermionic systems, the electron-electron Coulomb repulsion is important enough to interfere with transport properties. We utilize the optical conductivity to measure the characteristic energies and spectral weight transfer between excitations present in these systems.
